Louise has held a number of leadership positions within Government, private, philanthropic and the NGO sectors. Louise’s specialization is leadership and innovation for a transforming world.

She is currently running her own business, is leadership advisor for the Center for Social Impact and the Government lead on the new social innovation lab, the Auckland Co-Design Lab, as well as the Programme Director for the Leadership NZ Programme.

Over recent years, Louise has been:

  • Executive Director of the NZ Government Auckland Policy Office (a cross government initiative)
  • An MBIE director, responsible for leading Government interaction and strategy with the Auckland Council. She was also responsible for Māori Economic Development.
  • Advisor to the Prime Minister
  • A General Manager in local government, a park ranger, a journalist and an editor of magazines. 

Louise’s is a co-director of Spirited Leadership, a leadership development and coaching and mentoring NZ and the Sustainable Business Network.  She is an Advisory Trustee of Leadership NZ. She has university qualifications in environmental management, public policy and Jungian and Transpersonal psychology, and is a certified coach.
