We hold events for our alumni, friends, and the general public for people to connect with the important conversations in leadership.

Subject matter experts and prominent New Zealand leaders share their knowledge and engage with the audience, sparking new ideas and innovation as minds from different backgrounds converge and focus their energy on a salient issue or theme.

Congratulations!

Leadership NZ was delighted to host the graduation of the 2014 Programme participants at Q Theatre, Auckland on 22 November. With MC, Alumnus Steve Ferguson and the Hon Tariana Turia as guest speaker, the evening was a great success and a fitting way to wrap up this year’s programme (which is the 10th programme to graduate since our inception). Another 33 amazing NZ leaders have joined the Leadership NZ alumni cohort and are now connected and committed to shaping and leading Aotearoa.

Participants, Elizabeth McNaughton (alias Superwoman) and John Skurr (alias Captain James T Kirk), spoke on behalf of the 2014 class and shared with us their thoughts around “Our Only Line of Defence and Our Only Hope of Progress”.

In addition to all who attended in support of those graduating, a special thank you to Trustee & Alumnus George Riley for performing the mihi whakatau, to Chair, Peter Garnett for his comments and thanks to our wonderful sponsors/partners throughout the year, and to Q Theatre (Alumnus & Q CEO, James Wilson and his team).
